But she couldn’t find one that combined all those qualities.
So, she decided to write it herself. During a family trip to Hawaii, as fireworks burst through the night sky, she couldn’t sleep, and instead began writing what would become Let’s Play Ball!. By the time she finally dozed off, she had written two full chapters. What began as a mother’s mission soon turned into a complete Children’s Book that she hopes will help other families see themselves in literature.
