Ealing Council committed defamation against Errol Baptiste the resident as in their failed bid to overturn the Housing Ombudsman’s determination by calling him a liar and being libellous on the housing disrepair.
Ealing Council in their case review and being defamatory in their case review to the Housing Ombudsman also confirm the decision from the Ombudsman ‘s Original Complaint of the resident on the housing disrepair.
The Housing Ombudsman upheld the resident’s original complaint on the housing disrepair against Ealing Council which they breached paragraph 52 of the Housing Ombudsman’s Scheme committed defamation against Errol Baptiste the resident for more than 35 months from November 2021 to January 28, 2025, under the Defamation Act 2013.
